APIIT has also been ranked as 3rd Promising Engineering College in India for IT program affiliated from Staffordshire University, UK and has been honoured by various other coveted awards of eminence.

The CSR-GHRDC survey for 2009 for Engineering institutes including IITs and NITs was carried out across the country and institutes were adjudged on the basis of criterion like infrastructure (Physical & Academic), Faculty, Research, Consultancy, MDP & Others Programmes, Admission, Curriculum & Delivery System, Placement (Domestic & International /industry interface). What is impressive is that APIIT scored points on all the parameters in a homogeneous way. APIIT scored a whooping 528.61 points in Placements/Industry Interface category, which is among the highest in the list. In fact, as far as Faculty is concerned it has scored more than the 1st rank holder of the list.
