APIIT SD INDIA, Panipat is pleased to announce that student Ambassadorship has now been launched to enhance the image of institute and strengthen the relationship between parents and APIIT management. The objectives of student ambassadorship program are as follows.
1.    Creating a true professionalism among students.
2.    Creating a leadership quality in to the students.
3.    Ambassador will act as an interface between APIIT management and rest of the students.
Eligibility Criteria
Students having interpersonal skills and high level of communication are required to apply for the same. Students having good academic records and outstanding achievements in extracurricular activity will be preferred.
Selection process
Desirous students are required to submit their resume along with the cover letter, stating that how he/she is the best suitable candidate for this  job on or before 20 January 2010 to Mr. Rahul Kumar (Coordinator Student Ambassadorship Programme) personally or by email on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Student ambassador will be selected through group discussion, evaluation of presentation skills followed by a personal Interview.

Responsibility of a Student Ambassador
There will be various groups of ambassadors may have 2 or 3 members in each group. Each group will get 1 or 2 below mentioned activity to perform.

• Connecting Alumni.

• Fact circulation through student connect program (1 Ambassador will have pocket of 20 students).

• Leading all the events inside or outside the college.

• Coordinating and managing parents meet.

• Promotion of the collage through social site.

• Active participation in all events conducted by CRC.    

Active participation in all events conducted by cultural committee.  

Benefits for student ambassador

• Students will undergo a training programme.

• Students will get an opportunity to work as a part time employee during vacations and holidays.

• Students will get an opportunity to participate in press conferences, exhibitions and seminars organized in various cities around the nation and overseas as well.

• After successful completion of 1 year ambassadorship program students will get a sponsorship from institute to go to APIIT Malaysia(Under Student Exchange Program)

• Under sponsorship student will get free air ticket, receive and drop from airport, free accommodation and Training for Executive Management Program.

• Institute will issue a certificate to each ambassador after successful completion of ambassadorship programme.

Note: - The food and other expenses will be taken care by the ambassador itself.
Performance appraisal
Student performance will get appraised quarterly by the performance appraisal system. If ambassador performance will not be found satisfactory they will be dropped in between and not to be entitled for any benefits.
