Industrial Visit to Brake Parts Inc on 8 August 2018
B.Tech(Mechatronics)/EEE/EE students were on the industrial visit to BRAKE PARTS INC. Sonepat on 08th August 2018(Wednesday). During the visit,Mr.VinitGoel, HR Manager, welcomed all the students and faculty members and gave a brief introduction to the company.
Brake Parts India Pvt. Ltd. (formerly known as AFFINIA India Pvt. Ltd.) was incorporated in India as a private limited company on Aug. 30, 2007, under the Companies Act, 1956. The company is engaged in the manufacturing of disc brake pads for mainly North America. The company has been set up as a 100 percent export-oriented unit under the provision of EOU Scheme 2004-09. The Brake Parts Inc. India plant is IATF 16949: 2016 Certified. The company commenced commercial operations in Dec. 2008.
Further during the visit the young engineers had a close look over theentire manufacturing life cycleof brake parts that is the input of raw material, processing and production.
The visit concluded with an interactive session with the plant officials, where students satiated their curiosity regarding various aspects of production. Finally GM of the company Mr.Anil Bhatiyaaverred that that this visit would add value in their learning process and blessed young engineers for their happy and bright future.
