Informative Seminar on “MANAGEMENT IN ONE GO"

On Oct 12, 2023 Department of Management studies of APIIT SD INDIA organized a highly informative seminar on “MANAGEMENT IN ONE GO” for management department students at 10:00 am by Dr. R.K. SINGLA (Prof.(Retd.) Govt. PG College, Karnal) under the guidance of Head of Department (Dr Anju Bala).All the faculty members of management department also attended this seminar. The seminar aimed at enhancing the knowledge of management among students. The seminar commenced with an introduction to the management which includes what is management and why management is necessary. Emphasis was placed on the importance of Cooperation and Coordination. He also discussed various aspects such as activity or process ,14 Principles, 3 Levels, and functions of management etc. The key highlighted areas were Planning, Organising, Staffing , Directing and Controlling. He also covered the topic of work culture and motivated students to treat their college as a part of their family.He examplify the relevance of creativity with “Student Dummy Bank”. The seminar concluded with Dr. Rajesh Gargi(Director), Dr. Anju Bala(Head of Department) and Mr. Madan Lal delivering the vote of thanks. The seminar proved to be very helpful for students for building their career in management. They also eagerly participated in Feedback session. .
